Healthier eaters have a lower percentage of developing heart disease, stroke, diabetes, hypertension, being overweight or obese, tooth decay, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, stroke, type-2 diabetes, osteoporosis, some cancers, and depression.

Eating healthy is utmost important to me. I have been a vegetarian for seven years now. I had bad eating habits in the past unfortunately. I gained 30 pounds from my poor eating habits. I was eating foods that included genetically modified organisms, high fructose syrup, canola oil, soybean oil, and other chemicals the government add to our food supply. I consume only organic food. I have now lost 30 plus pounds now and I am feeling great!

Throughout my blog I want to share with you photographs of my eating habits. I would like to encourage other people how important it is to eat healthy for a life of longevity and happiness. Along with my healthy diet? I exercise twice daily. Your body is your temple, take care of it thoroughly. I recently partnered with Fit4kids, DC Central Kitchen, and Healthy Food Access. I am so excited to share tips on how to eat nutritious and the various types of workouts I do on a daily basis.
